DataStream's New ChromaMax Inks and Media

DataStream has introduced the Chroma-
Max line of inkjet media and inks. Its line
of media includes ChromaGraphix for
indoor use and PermaGraphix for
indoor/outdoor use. This media can be
used with piezo and thermal aqueous pigment-
based, solvent, and eco-solvent
inks. The ChromaMax media is available in
thicknesses of 3 to 17 mils, and in matte,
satin, and gloss finishes.

The coated line includes media such
as poly-based paper, adhesive-backed
paper, fine-art canvas, regular vinyl,
scrim banner vinyl, self-adhesive vinyl,
Tyvek, and backlit film. The uncoated
line includes media for eco-solvent and
solvent inkjet printers. Most media are
available in rolls (from 24 to 60 in. wide)
and standard-sized sheets.

ChromaMax inkjet inks”?ChromaMax
Piezo Ink and ChromaMax Ultra for
Epson”?offer a broad color gamut, and
feature quick drying times. The ink is
available in bulk bottles (1-liter) and
supports 6- or 7-color printing. The system
consists of 6 to 12 ink cartridges
which plug into the printer and are refillable.
Ink comes in CMYKcmk. Chroma-
Max inks are available for several piezo
printers, including Roland, Epson,
