Daige Announces Quikmount 4 Cold Laminators

Daige has unveiled a new line of cold laminators”?the Quikmount 4 series. Comprising 25-, 38-, and 55-in.-wide models, the line also now includes a 65-in. model as well. The 4 series will replaces the company”?s Quikmount III line.

The 65-in. model offers an increased footprint for additional stability, additional shaft in front for holding the liner paper that goes under the print, and shafts that are easier to remove to change laminate. The new machine laminates at speeds up to 7 ft/min.

Designed for novices, this laminator is easy to learn in a short timeframe, reports the company. It accommodates self-adhesive laminates, offers a heavy-duty motor, auto take-up reel for rolling up the liner, non-stick silicone-covered rollers, steel and aluminum construction, and accommodates board up to 1-in. thick. Options include rolling stand and foot switch.

Price: $2400 for the 65-in. Quikmount 4; other models in the line (25- to 55-in.) range from $1295 to $1995.
