The shop-management software developed by Cyrious Software can help producers of short runs of signs and digital graphics operate at peak efficiency. The latest upgrade (Version 8) adds a number of user-requested features to the software's suite of tools for job quoting, tracking, and invoicing.

For example, a new integrated marketing component uses data from the company's accounting system to identify customers who haven't purchased any work within the last year or so. Sales reps can then use the data and the marketing tools in Cyrious software to create promotional letters and labels for mailing targeted to stimulating new orders from these identified customers.

Cyrious has also moved to a single dongle system through which customers can buy a single dongle and be authorized for a certain number of “simultaneous uses” anywhere in the building.

Other enhancements have been made to improve e-mail capabilities, the ability to add notes to line items that print only on work orders, the ability to add default order and production notes that automatically get added to new orders and estimates, and the ability to search by P.O. number in the marketing component.
