Creo Print On-Demand Solutions (PODS)
Group, a unit of Kodak's Graphic Communications
Group, has launched a new digital
color server that drives the Hewlett-
Packard Indigo line of presses. The HP
Indigo Production Stream Server will initially
support the Indigo 5000 and 3050;
support for additional Indigo presses will
be added in the future.

Featuring a high-speed RIP, imposition,
color management, trapping, and
anti-aliasing through an easy-to-use
graphical user interface, the Production
Stream Server is designed to increase
productivity, generate better color quality,
and extend a shop's VDP capabilities.
The server is available in two packages:
The Multi-Press Workflow Package
enables a single Production Stream
Server to run two HP Indigos (connecting
with Kodak Prinergy and Kodak Brisque
workflow systems); the VDP Workflow
package supports VDP-authoring tools
and forms, as well as applying general
workflow features such as imposition
and color management to VDP jobs.
