Crane Launches Silver Rag Fine-Art Paper

Crane has launched its new digital fine-art paper”?the 300-gsm Silver Rag.

Designed for use with pigmented inkjet inks, this 100% archival-quality paper has the look, feel, and image quality of traditional fiber-based photo paper and provides exceptional print performance in color and black-and-white imaging, reports the company. Other applications include fine-art photography, limited-edition prints, portraits, and sepia prints.

With a glossy finish, it features a tough surface, quick dry-time, and outstanding water resistance. It is internally buffered, contains no optical brighteners, is 0.015-in. thick with a 90 brightness.

Silver Rag is available in a variety of sheets sizes up to 35 x 47-in. and rolls from 17- to 50-in. wide. Printer settings and profiles are available on the company's website.
