ConVerd Named Matan Distributor

Substrate supplier ConVerd (converd.com) has made three announcements of note:

* It has been named the exclusive distributor of Matan printers in the North American digital marketplace. ConVerd will become Matan's sales and marketing partner for the Barak line of UV hybrid printers in the United States and Canada.

* ConVerd will also sell two printers manufactured by Korea-based Yuhan Kimberly/DTP Link: the UJet MC3-Premium textile printer and the UJet MC3-Express with eco-friendly inks.

* It has created a sustainable paper product line 'designed to move the digital printing industry toward a greener future.' The ConVerd by Aconda Natura poster line comprises eight media manufactured from pulp from FSC-certified forests. The media are manufactured with up to 50% post-consumption fibers, the company reports, and are 100% recyclable; they also are carbon-neutral certified. The line includes: Blox-Lite, CityLight, CityScape, Enviroboard FR, Enviroboard MR, Hydros Board, Hi-T, and Mural Azul.
