Consac 2004, the Sign Association of Canada trade show and conference, will take place September 17-18 at the Toronto Congress Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Subtitled “Imagemakers,” the show and conference is geared to address digital imaging, sign making, electronic and neon technologies, computer design, screenprinting, and more. As of mid-July, nearly 100 exhibitors were scheduled to showcase their products and services, including Aeromatrix, Mactac, Noritsu Canada, Roland Digital, 3M Canada, Ultraflex Systems, and others.

Consac 2004 will reflect a renewed attention toward education at the show, say conference officials. Seminar topics will include: “Digital Imaging Color Management,” “When Do I Use LEDs, and How Do I Make My Choice?” “Digital Hype: Today's Digital Choices Are Not Just About Printing,” “Value and Evaluation of Signage,” “LED Signage: An Overview,” and others.

General registration fee for the exposition is $15 (CAD); fee per seminar is $20 (or $50 for an all-seminar pass). (Sign Association of Canada,
