Epson SureColor P-Series and T-Series

A 24-in. SureColor P-Series model and 24- and 36-in SureColor T-Series models are slated to launch later this year.

Epson has announced new compact wide-format SureColor P-Series photo printers and SureColor T-Series technical printers. Both 44-in. presses feature 2.64-in. PrecisionCore printheads and Adobe Embedded Print Engine for processing complicated PDF data.

The SureColor T7770D dual-roll CAD/technical printer features UltraChrome XD3 ink with new red color, automated roll loading, and P-O-P displays.

The SureColor P8570D automated dual-roll production photo press utilizes 6-color UltraChrome Pro6 ink with gray for improved image output, and built-in take-up reel for roll-to-roll printing.

The company reports a 24-in. SureColor P-Series model and 24- and 36-in SureColor T-Series models are slated to launch later this year.

Agfa Avinci CX3200 Soft Signage Press

Agfa has launched the Avinci CX3200 roll-to-roll dye sub printer, engineered to print on transfer paper or directly to textiles for soft signage applications. Aslan has introduced media manufactured from recycled raw materials of post-consumer waste: LoopPet Aslan DRL 19 film and LoopLam Aslan SRL 19 laminate.

LoopPet Aslan DRL 19 is a white film composed of 30% recycled polyester and features Dryapply adhesive technology for bubble-free application and clean removeability, the company reports. The media is compatible with latex and UV-curable inks. LoopLam Aslan SRL 19 clear laminate features 70% recycled polyester composition and is printable with UV-curable and latex inks.

Both 1.9-mil, water-based self-adhesive films are free of solvents, PVC, and VOCs. Applications include indoor or outdoor event graphics and P-O-P displays on smooth, flat surfaces. Offered in 53-in. rolls.
