Charrette, the imaging-products provider based in Woburn, MA, has acquired the Graphic Resources Corporation (GRC). GRC provides technical services and graphics media and equipment to graphics and engineering customers. Charrette will maintain all five GRC locations”?Garden Grove, CA; San Jose, CA; Kirkland, WA; Wichita, KS; and St. Louis, MO”?and no staff reductions are planned.

“The addition of GRC increases our product line, our technical support, our market share, and most importantly, it allows us to better serve our customers,” says Jack Ford, Charrette chairman and CEO. “This acquisition is consistent with Charrette's mission to be the premiere provider of digital imaging products and services.”

GRC was founded in 1971 as a “one-stop plotter organization,” providing service contracts, time and material repairs, new and refurbished CAD equipment, and media, toner and ink supplies for major plotter manufacturers and technologies. (Charrette: www.charrette.com; GRC: www.grcplotters.com)
