Many years ago, we were called on by a celebrity interior designer in Beverly Hills to produce some custom wallpaper. Of course, I wanted to be on the job, so I headed to LA, tape measure in hand. While I was measuring something, an unnamed pop star walked into the room and was a bit startled to see me and the other designers. She turned around and quickly returned, but this time wearing giant sunglasses. She was wearing sunglasses, indoors, in her own home. Please don’t make eye contact with pop stars.
