Carl Zeiss New ZE Lenses

Carl Zeiss has added to its line of SLR lenses with the Zeiss ZE lenses with EF bayonet for all analog and digital EOS camera models. The first two lenses to be released will be the Planar T* 1,4/50 ZE and the Planar T* 1,4/85 ZE. Both lenses offer an aperture scale of f/1.4-f/16, while the Planar T* 1,4/50 ZE features a focal length of 50mm and a focusing range of 1.5 ft to infinity, and the Planar T* 1,4/85 ZE features a focal length of 85mm and a focusing range of 3.3 ft to infinity. Both lenses support programmed auto exposure, shutter priority, aperture priority, and a manual setting.
