Brampton Steelheads Use Drytac Media for Seamless Rink Board Graphics at CAA Centre

(PRESS RELEASE) BRAMPTON, ON — The Brampton Steelheads of the Ontario Hockey League have upgraded their rink board advertising using Drytac’s Polar Premium RB90 removable print media paired with Interlam Pro Matte laminate, producing full-size dasher board graphics without seams at the CAA Centre.

To produce the 30-by-96-inch dasher board advertisements, the Steelheads worked with Rinkboards, part of TC Intergraphics Decal, which specializes in field-of-play marketing. The width of the Polar Premium RB90 at 62 inches and Interlam Pro Matte at 61 inches allowed full-coverage graphics without paneling or material waste.

Removability was a key requirement. Rinkboards graphics are regularly struck by pucks and sticks during gameplay, and a removable adhesive allowed damaged panels to be replaced without harming the dasher system surface. Seasonal and sponsor updates could also be handled without surface damage.

The arena environment required a material that performs in cold conditions. Polar Premium RB90 has a low application temperature of -4 degrees Fahrenheit (-20 degrees Celsius), which the company says made installation straightforward. Graphics were printed on a digital commercial press, and installation was completed by Rinkboards’ local installers.
