Blue Pixel Offers Digital Photography Seminars

'Just Show Me How' tour for advanced amateurs and professionals

Blue Pixel, the photography training group, has teamed with Extensis, GretagMacbeth, Lexar, Mirra, Nik Multimedia, Wacom, Adobe, and Microsoft to put together two separate digital-photography series of seminars”?one for advanced amateurs and one for professional photographers.

The Just Show Me How seminar tour for advanced amateurs is scheduled to begin in September and will visit 20 cities throughout 2004. Comprising half-day seminars, the tour will focus on capture, download, image management, editing, and more. Dates and locales include: Anaheim, CA and Tampa, FL (Sept. 18); Austin, TX and San Francisco (Sept. 25); Atlanta and Portland, OR (Oct. 2); Charlotte and San Diego (Oct. 9); Phoenix and Washington, DC (Oct. 16); Denver and New York City (Oct. 30); Chicago and Seattle (Nov. 6); Boston and Dallas (Nov. 13); Baltimore and San Jose (Nov. 20); Los Angeles and Minneapolis/St. Paul (Dec. 4).

The tour for professional photographers will begin in January 2005 and will visit 10 cities. These seminars will feature full-day events that will cover similar topics at the amateur seminars, but will provide more in-depth information on each. Dates and locales have yet to be announced.
