IJ Technologies has launched Black Diamond Satin Canvas, a water-resistant, rapid-dry media designed to maintain a textured satin finish throughout the tonal ranges of the print when photo black inks are used, the company reports. Geared toward photographic and fine-art reproduction, the media is compatible with all OEM aqueous pigment inksets. Its coating features no optical brighteners.

Black Diamond Satin Canvas is available in roll sizes from 17- to 60-in. wide. Note: The company recommends application of Black Diamond Eclipse aqueous finish for superior UV and abrasion resistance.
