Big Picture’s Editor-in-Chief Adrienne Palmer has been named one of Folio: magazine’s 2019 Top Women in Media. The awards celebrate women in the media industry who stand out, take risks, and push their teams to new heights. Recognized in the Up and Comers category, Palmer joins a class of women on the rise, making an impact, even at the early stages of their careers.

In her nearly seven years with the brand, Palmer has worked her way from assistant editor to her current role as editor-in-chief. In every position she’s held, Palmer has sought innovative ways to expand the Big Picture brand and create editorial content of value, including leading initiatives such as a website redesign, an augmented reality-enabled magazine cover campaign, Editorial Advisory Board growth, video integration, the launch of the Best of Wide Format Awards, expansion of the Women in Print Awards, and more.

“All honorees of the Folio: Top Women in Media Awards bring something new and exciting to the table, but each shares the same key characteristics of smarts and exuberance,” says Danielle Sikes, Folio associate publisher, in a release, “whether it be through revenue and audience growth, brand extensions, product launches, business transformations, or pioneering savvy.”

Palmer and the 2019 Top Women in Media class will be recognized at an awards ceremony in June in New York.
