When producers of the “Rachael Ray Show” wanted to make a splash for the celebrity chef’s makeover episode that was filming in Philadelphia, they engaged Millvale, New Jersey-based Designer Wraps to create a larger-than-life graphic wrap for a 40-foot tour bus.

The call came in late Friday for a Monday morning completion, so time was of the essence. Artwork was provided by the client and prepped in Photoshop, then Designer Wraps used its Mutoh ValueJet 1614 printer with SAi FlexiSign Pro 8.6 RIP and Mutoh eco-solvent inks to output the images of Ray surrounded by various hair and makeup accessories onto Avery MPI 1005 Easy Apply RS cast vinyl.

Total print time was 10 hours, plus another two hours to finish the job with an Avery DOL1360 overlaminate. A team of three installers completed the job in 12 hours.
