To pair with biophilic design is “resimercial:” a residential look and feel to a commercial space. Michael Elrod, Czarnowski’s general manager, believes it has “significant upside potential for a new generation and for large-format print providers looking to capitalize on the growing interior design production opportunities.”
The digitally printed space includes “wooden” floor graphics, textured wallcoverings, wood-patterned vinyl-wrapped counter tops, and three SEG backlit fabrics attached to custom recessed light boxes with real replacement windows. “The replacement windows are easily removed so the printed fabric graphics can be changed out with different seasons or any desired images,” he adds.
