For the global launch of “The Sport Fitness” Reebok CrossFit campaign, Apple Visual Graphics (www.applevisualgraphics.com) wrapped 18 shipping containers in Red Hook, a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Over the course of six weeks, the containers were shipped to nine major international cities: New York, Mexico, Delhi, London, Paris, Berlin, Milan, Barcelona, and Moscow. Once on site, the former cargo containers served as converted CrossFit gym apparatus at PR events incorporating local celebrities, CrossFit affiliates, and consumers, encouraging them to engage in the sport.

Apple Visual Graphics produced the container wraps using its Mimaki JV-33 printers, onto Avery adhesive vinyl. The serial numbers and small decals were created using cut vinyl.

“This particular portable gym [seen above] was flown to Russia for a CrossFit event,” says Adam Sturm, Apple Visual’s president. “We were excited to work on it, as a few of us here are big CrossFitters.”
