Avery has introduced its MPI 6121 Street Graphics film, a 1.8-mil, non-PVC film designed for rough outdoor surfaces and street graphics. The film—compatible with UV, solvent, and eco-solvent inks–features Avery’s “micro-fracture” technology, allowing it to conform to rough surfaces and minimize lifted edges; the technology also allows moisture to channel through, limiting water pooling and reducing slip hazards. It’s durable for six months of foot traffic or three months of vehicle traffic, the company reports.

Avery’s Greenline GP films are 100-percent PVC- and phthalate-free and compatible with UV as well as screen and offset inks. Designed for short-term indoor and outdoor promotional graphics, the films are available in various face film/adhesive combinations including gloss white (permanent or removable), matte white permanent, and gloss clear permanent. The adhesives are solvent free.

The company also has debuted its MPI 3601 Quick Mark, a 6-mil, high-caliper gloss, calendered film for short-term indoor and outdoor signage. For installation on flat surfaces, it’s opaque and designed to offer consistent print and image quality with digital solvent, eco-solvent, and UV-curable inks.
