Aslan Debuts New Films

Aslan has recently debuted several new self-adhesive films: Aslan CA 30, a translucent gold film; Aslan NL 145, a photo luminescent film; and Aslan EC 55, a glass-etch translucent film.

Aslan CA 30 is a 5-mil translucent gold film for lightbox applications. During the day, it’s a glossy gold color; at night, when illuminated, the film shows a golden-yellow color, without the need for outside spotlights. Carrying UV-protection and an outdoor durability of 5 yrs, the CA 30 is printable with all major inkjet printers, reports Aslan. It’s available in 49-in. rolls.

The 12-mil photo luminescent film Aslan NL 145 offers 6 to 8 hr luminescent power, which complies with the DIN standard 67510-1 so it can be used in public buildings to label escape routes or fire extinguishers. Appearing white during the day, the photo luminescence begins when the lights are off, and the film can be recharged infinite times. This PVC film is compatible with solvent inkjet printers and is available in 39- and 49-in. rolls.

The new Aslan EC 55 is a 7-mil colorful translucent film with special metal-fleck pigments, which results in a glass-etch effect. Available in 20 colors, this self-adhesive film is printable using solvent and mild-solvent inkjet printers. With a low initial tack for easy repositioning, it offers high-tack after 24 hr. It features an outdoor durability of 5 yrs and is available in 49-in. rolls.
