Three industry events of note are already slotted for 2010 calendars, all taking place within the same week:

• EskoWorld 2010, the global EskoArtwork user event, will be held April 18-21 at the Marriott Tampa Waterside Hotel and Marina in Florida. The organization of the event and preparation of relevant content is a collaborative effort between EskoArtwork and the EskoArtwork User Group International (EUGI); the two groups report that they have plans to “broaden the program for the upcoming event to offer more valuable content to more users, in more markets, with more partners and for more applications.” The event comprises training sessions, roundtable discussions, seminars, and hands-on labs. Registration is at esko.com.

• The 11th annual EFI Connect users’ conference will take place April 18-21 at the Wynn Las Vegas. Connect enables EFI customers to attend educational sessions, test drive EFI products, voice their opinions at user group meetings, discuss industry trends, and network with peers. New for 2010: a lab area feature will include live workflow demonstrations that will walk a job from acquisition through management, preparation, and production. The Connect lab will showcase the latest EFI offerings, including wide-format printers from the Vutek and Rastek lineups. There will also be an industry vendor area, where various technology providers will be showcasing their own products as well. Registration is at efi.com.

• The OnDemand Expo will take place April 19-22 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The annual event, which focuses on digital printing and automated production, includes both an expo and an educational conference; the 2010 educational program will cover digital printing applications, digital workflows, in-plant management, marketing, business strategies, Web-to-print, and more. The event is co-located with the AIIM expo and conference, for directors of information technology. Registration is at ondemandexpo.com.
