Adobe Systems is expanding its Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) program to include ACE Creative Suite Master as well as ACE Web, Print or Video Specialist titles. To support the new certification levels, the company is making new exams available for all major Adobe product upgrades at more than 5000 testing centers worldwide. Exams will be made available in English, French, German, and Japanese.

“The Adobe Certified program helps creative professionals and consultants differentiate themselves by calling out their specialized skills and deep product knowledge with clearly defined certification levels,” says Bill McCulloch, Adobe's training and certification programs manager.

Although Adobe does not charge a fee to become an Adobe Certified Expert, Pearson VUE and Thomson Prometric”?the testing centers that administer the exams”?do charge a fee of $150 per exam in the United States.

The new program also includes options for trainers who wish to receive the Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) title. To qualify, an individual must be certified as an ACE and “demonstrate the ability to provide instruction or training to others on the use of Adobe products.” ACIs are qualified for potential employment at Adobe Authorized Training Centers.
