ACD Systems' AutoShare? is an image database-sharing program that integrates with the company's ACDSee 5.0 and ACD mPower Tools? to enable multiple users within an organization to search and sort images in one or more shared databases. Images can be accessed using keywords, descriptions, notes, date and time, author and categories.

According to ACD Systems president Mike Zelen, ACD AutoShare was developed in response to corporate clients who requested a cost-effective image database sharing solution that worked over local area networks. The program runs on standard office computers, without the need for additional server hardware or the assistance of IT professionals.

ACD AutoShare is a standalone application that sells for $199.95 plus $9.95 per user. It can be licensed through either the company's floating or corporate licensing systems.
