UK-based ITL has introduced a trio of replacement inks for wide-format printers: a dual-purpose solvent for textile and vinyl substrates; a solvent specifically for Mimaki JV5 printers; and a bio-solvent range.

ITL’s VTV is a dual-purpose textile and vinyl inkjet ink for Epson-based solvent engines. Available in CMYK, orange, and green, VTV is aimed at the garment-printing markets as well as vinyl films and banner products.

MS5 True Solvent is a low-odor ink formulated for Mimaki’s JV5 printer range, and designed to provide excellent resistance to scratching, abrasion, and alcohol damage. The ink offers 24 months’ outdoor durability without fading in UV light, ITL reports, and have an 18-month shelf life. Available in CMYK, light cyan, and light magenta.

i-BiO is a mild-solvent inkset designed for Mimaki, Mutoh, Roland, and Uniform machines employing Epson’s DX3 or DX4 printheads. i-Bio boasts renewable corn oil derivatives and toxicologically safe solvents, and allows for photorealistic production onto both coated and uncoated media. No additional lamination is required for exterior use, says ITL. Available in CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, orange, green, red, and blue.

All three new inks are available in cartridge or bulk-feed options.
