Avery Graphics has introduced three new films: MPI 2601 wall film, MPI 2150 translucent film, and MPI 3900/3910 promotional films. All of the new films are compatible with solvent, mild-solvent, and UV-curable printers.

MPI 2601 is a 6-mil calendered white wall film with a luster finish (to limit glare) and a clear removable adhesive. Engineered for wall murals, consumer wall decorations, wall signage, P-O-P signage, and wall labeling, this film adheres throughout the life of the graphic (3 yr indoors, 11/2 yr outdoor) 'even when printed to the edge,” reports Avery Graphics. Further, the film is recommended for most paint finishes, including high-gloss, semi-gloss, eggshell, flat, and satin paints and is removable for up to 1 yr from most smooth surfaces. Available in 54-in. rolls.

The 3.2-mil self-adhesive translucent MPI 2150 calendered film is designed for interior and exterior backlit signage such as airport and restaurant advertising, menu boards, bus shelters, subway advertising, and trade-show applications. When protected with a cast overlaminate, it offers 5-yr durability. Additionally, the film resists shrinking even with heavy ink loads, it provides consistent light transmission when applied over a light source, and is available in 54- or 60-in. rolls.

Designed for short- to medium-term applications, MPI 3900/3910 promotional films are 3.4-mil matte/3.2-mil gloss white calendered vinyls featuring a clear permanent adhesive, easy application, and long durability (2-yr outdoor). Useful for promotional campaigns including P-O-P, trade shows, outdoor signage, floor graphics, wall murals, and advertising, the 3900/3910 films are available in 30-, 54-, and 60-in. rolls.
