3M™ MCS™ Warranty Coverage Announced for Additional rTr Printer with Co-Developed EFI™ VUTEk® GSLXr 3M™ SuperFlex UV Ink

3M Commercial Solutions announces 3M™ MCS™ Warranty eligibility for the EFI™ VUTEk® GS5250LXr Pro Printer with EFI™ VUTEk® GSLXr 3MTM SuperFlex UV Ink. 3M-certified graphics manufacturers can provide up to a 7-year warranty period when protected with qualifying film overlaminates, and up to a 5-year warranty period when protected with 3M™ UV Gloss 9740i liquid clear coat.

The 3M Warranty coverage is a new offering for the recently launched EFI™ VUTEk® GS5250LXr Pro Printer. Now for the GS3250LXr, GS5250LXr, & GS5500LXr Pro Printers, using the co-developed EFI™ VUTEk® GSLXr 3M™ SuperFlex UV Ink gives graphic manufacturers an outstanding alternative to solvent-based inks that provides the durability, heat resistance and stretchability needed for fleet and vehicle wrap applications.

The 3M™ MCS™ Warranty is the industry’s gold standard in finished graphics warranties, covering fading, cracking, peeling and other aspects of graphic performance. 3M is able to offer this level of assurance thanks to its expertise in weathering technology and its rigorous testing of ink and printer combinations. The 3M™ MCS™ Warranty assures end users that their images will perform as expected for the life of the graphic.

To provide the warranty, graphics manufacturers must be certified by 3M. Graphics manufacturers that have completed the process will receive a personalized Certificate of 3M™ MCS™ Warranty.
