3M Releases New Scotchcal Films

3M has introduced Scotchcal Graphic
Film Series IJ20/40 and RG20/40 film
series. Both series are 3-mil white gloss
non-cast vinyl, available with permanent
or removable adhesives, and for
use for outdoor or indoor promotional
messages on bus boards, store fronts,
signs, kiosks, and vehicle marking. They
are compatible with solvent printers,
can conform to flat surfaces with simple
curves, and are available in 54-in. rolls.

The IJ series is for use with the Vutek
UltraVu and Mimaki JV3; the RG series is
for use with the Oce Arizona.

The R products feature removable,
pressure-sensitive gray adhesive, which
leaves little or no residue, provides good
opacity, and allows the films to be used
on colored surfaces. The P films feature a
permanent, self-adhesive clear adhesive
for use in backlit displays and two-sided
viewing on transparent surfaces; these
films can also be used as an overlaminate.

  durability and are available with permanent
  (IJ20P-10 and RG20P-10) or
  removable (IJ20R-10 and RG20R-10)
  adhesives.

• The Scotchcal Graphic Film Series
  IJ40 and RG40 offer medium-term 3-
  yr durability and are available with permanent
  (IJ40P-10 and RG40P-10) or
  removable (IJ40R-10 and RG40R-10)
  adhesives.
